Hi

I'm trying to install neverwinter nights (platinum edition - 4 CDs) on my mint
12 install, but am having trouble.
Disk1 automounts when I put it in, I start setup, wine pops up and everything
goes fine ... until it wants disk2. At that point, nothing I do will mount
disk 2. Interestingly, when I gave up and shut wine, disk2 then mounted.
It worked without problems on my previous kubuntu machine.

Obviously I've got something wrong ... does anyone happen to know what ? :)
Looks like wine and mint are not talking to each other ... should I turn
automount off and do it manually in some way ? ... there's no obvious 'mount
disk' function in the wine screen. Or have I stuffed up an option somewhere ?

I've looked for possible fixes, without success.
Any hints (or detailed instructions :) ) would be very welcome. :)

Thanks heaps. :)

Bioware do/did have an installer for linux. I have used this in the past
however it may no longer exist on the Bioware site. IIRC it was a little
outdated and needed a load of

I had considerable problems installing the disk version and ended up
buying it for $5 from GOG. PlayonLinux has install tools for the GOG
version.

I cannot recall if I managed to install it by copying all the files onto
a single flash drive; sometimes the installer is a dumb installer and
assumes that if it cannot find the file it must be on the next disk.
Putting all the files onto a single disk sometimes works.
